Ampere Computing's platforms are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the modern cloud native workload. Ampere's CIDR regression infrastructure uses images taken from a variety of sources. In this case, X264 tracks the open source project found here. The regression runs on bare metal rather than in a container. Results are found below in the Test Results section of this page.

x264 is a free software library and application for encoding video streams into the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC compression format, and is released under the terms of the GNU GPL. x.264 Features include: Provides best-in-class performance, compression, and features.
