Ampere Computing's platforms are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the modern cloud native workload. Ampere's CIDR regression infrastructure uses images taken from a variety of sources. In this case, Podman tracks the open source project found here. The regression runs on bare metal rather than in a container. Results are found below in the Test Results section of this page.

Podman is a daemonless container engine for developing, managing, and running OCI Containers on your Linux System. Podman is an alternative to Docker, providing a similar interface. It supports rootless containers and a shim service for docker-compose. Podman is part of RedHat Linux, but can also be installed on other distributions.
