Ampere Computing's platforms are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the modern cloud native workload. Ampere's CIDR regression infrastructure uses images taken from a variety of sources. In this case, TigerVNC server tracks the open source project found here. The regression runs on bare metal rather than in a container. Results are found below in the Test Results section of this page.
Information & official documentation on Official Docker Hub Images. Information on TigerVNC Server Native Application on Bare Metal
TigerVNC is an open source Virtual Network Computing (VNC) server and client software, started as a fork of TightVNC in 2009. The client supports Windows, Linux and macOS. The server supports Linux. There is no server for macOS and the Windows server as of release 1.11.0 is no longer maintained. TigerVNC focuses on performance and on remote display functionality.
Here at Ampere we've built an extensive infrastructure focused on Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Regression (called CIDR).
