Ampere Computing's platforms are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the modern cloud native workload. Ampere's CIDR regression infrastructure uses images taken from a variety of sources. In this case, MySQL Server tracks the open source project found here. The regression runs on bare metal rather than in a container.

Overview
MySQL Server
The MySQL server provides a database management system with querying and connectivity capabilities, as well as the ability to have excellent data structure and integration with many different platforms. It can handle large databases reliably and quickly in high-demanding production environments. The MySQL server software itself and the client libraries use dual-licensing distribution. They are offered under GPL version 2, or a proprietary license. MySQL Server, the world's most popular open source database, and MySQL Cluster, a real-time, open source transactional database.
